i get the impression that Dorian is the viewers (and possibly by extension, Kennex's) key into appreciating the underlying mistreatment of artificials. there have been so many overtly brutal MX deaths (even at the hands of the "protagonist") that i can't imagine it won't become a key narrative thread.

truthfully, I think it's a product of two things: 1. Obama as first a viable candidate then as president, making the simmering bigots feel uncomfortable and truly marginalized for the first time, and 2. social media giving them a very public platform for their views.

i cant understand why rolling in the mud with a bunch of young, scantily clad athletic people is intolerable. there is built-in motivation too: the further you go, the fitter the people you get to roll around in the mud with!

I absolutely loved it and im not even a Luddite! I saw it more as a parable than something that needed to be plausible or realistic. clearly it's supposed to be exaggerated, it's taking its cues from Brave New World for gods sake. so many of the criticisms seemed like self-important How Dare You's from Wired,

you know, if you don't appreciate the flammable shiny awesomeness of that Sleepy Hollow hoodie I'd gladly take it off your hands for you

i absolutely love southland tales in all its ridiculousness, and i am gratified to know AT LEAST 4 other people who feel the same way.

what i want to know is why the hell don't dinosaurs in modern movies and TV shows have feathers? sure, jurassic park and the classics can be excused since it wasn't scientific consensus then, but art directors really should know better now. every time some new movie or shows puts out some scaly "cold blooded" lizard

oh what would cat overlords do? force us to groom them and pet them and serve them all manner of expensive organic salmon cat food and cute toys? i do that already!

I'm constantly surprised at the insistence of critics to compare Masters of Sex to Mad Men, when as far as I can see they are only related in the most superficial of ways: time period. Sort of. Clothing. Or maybe that "there is an affair", which could be said about any other cable drama. To me these shows almost

A Good Day to Die Hard was such a disappointing experience for me, even reading the title here makes me cringe slightly. With the absolute best intentions my girlfriend got us tickets to see it debut at some mega IMAX outside of the city for my birthday. The movie was so bad that a palpable cloud of "bleh" hung around

so this is like a gender-swapped version of that completely ridiculous armor that female characters in fantasy RPGs have to wear. kind of impressively absurd really. eh, well, turnabout is fair play.

i respect this comment, but i will not up vote it. no sir.

I'm starting to acclimate to the redesign and have even noticed the decrease in load times, so I'm optimistic that with some tweaks it will be functional (although, apparently without a few features I enjoyed), but would it kill you to use a bit of color? the av club used to look so classy, now it's like I'm reading a

basically just posting to test out dealing with this new account and obligatory "whats the deal with this new layout", but…
