Another Twin Peaks connection… During the Ford product placement when Peter asks for directions to Portland, the GPS displays a route that goes through Snoqualmie, WA. Snoqualmie is where many of the key Twin Peaks locations were filmed. The Great Northern, Sherrif's office, Double R Diner, high school… I visited last

Other woman with Lapidus is definitely Sun
Apparently Sun and Jin won't reunite until the end of the season. Sounds to me like the only reason that would happen would be because she landed in the present with Locke instead of the 70s with Jack.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the 815ers started shit or that their actions weren't in response to what the Others did. I too would be scared out my mind. What I'm pointing out is that the Others never killed anyone, and the ones they took they didn't mistreat (the flight attendant, the kids, seems they

wookie- i think i might not have meant it exactly like that (even though those were essentially my words). i think it comes from thinking about the others back in season 3 and realizing that for all the crazy shit they did to the 815ers, they never killed anyone. it was the castaways that always resorted to the worst

Retro- you're right, i noticed that look on his face too when Locke said Jin was still alive. Then after he heard Locke mention EH he figured he had enough info to get his ass back to the island and name himself leader again. Or something.

If Locke is supposed to later be a stand-in for Christian Shepherd then he couldn't die by his own hand. Or maybe I'm just reaching. I love Ben being evil but I too feel bad for the guy at times and wish it'll turn out that he's simply misunderstood.

Maybe he doesn't take a psychological beating as often, but my money is on Ben as the guy he gets beat up the most. He's been bruised and battered almost every episode since he first showed up as Henry Gale (ok, i might be exaggerating a bit, but that guy is constantly getting the shit kicked out of him).

Somebody's been watching Christian Slater/John Travolta action movies from the mid-90s.

I noticed that immediately too. Brought me back to my Nick at Nite watching days back in the late 80s.

We might seem them again now that Tracy owns Lehman Brothers now. (what a way to spend his porn video game money btw) There's bound to be a callback to that at some point in the future.

I was thinking the same thing. They probably did that especially for the Super Bowl because they do deserve the recognition. Maybe they didn't use it tonight because they were pressed for time. The titles were definitely shorter.

I don't know, she's got a temper. Maybe she went to juvie because she assaulted a mall security guard that was trying to apprehend her for shoplifting.

Hmm. I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. I think it was a pretty solid ep. deserving of that A-. Although I do agree with your analysis of the hidden subtext running through tonight's show re: the wall street bailout. Well put.

One of the reasons I love this show so much is because of their dedication to jokes/callbacks that play out over the course of entire seasons. Glad to see there's still a show out there that does it so well ever since Arrested Development went off the air.

Bull Semen
So that's what the secret ingredient in Sabor de Soledad is!

I think her gut reaction wasn't happiness. She paused a little too much and then sort of grit her teeth as she said congrats. But I think that in the moment she came to terms with it and realized she had her faux-Jim and was okay with letting go of the past. Or I could just be reading into it too much. That guy

Nope. Just a client. His daughter is much much younger. Ryan knows how old she is. Stanley made sure of that.

Besixdouze
Read this over at io9, don't think anyone has mentioned this here. The name on the wreckage that the I6 found is Besixdouze which is the french pronunciation of B-612, the name of the little prince's asteriod in The Little Prince. Just a fun easter egg or more significant? I haven't read that book since 6th

Let's pretend the bomb is in the Swan station. Maybe this is why Desmond (and his predecessors) had to push the button every 108 minutes. That area is just teeming with electromagnetic energy. When they put the bomb there they realized that if that EM energy wasn't released every 108 minutes, it would set off the

People have suggested the geographic relocation of the island which would explain why Yemi's plane crash landed on the island (it relocated near Africa), the Black Rock in the middle of the island (the island relocated beneath the BR's current location), the polar bears (came on when the island was near Antarctica)….
