During a Sharknado episode of HDTGM (probably Sharknado 1) Paul went on a rant that made it clear he thinks Piranha 3D is great and Piranha 3DD is not, but he wouldn't go into further detail on air.

(shrugs; votes Rollo Tomassi)

She IS strong as hell.

I think Gayle works best in small doses, but "Chapter 2: Birth" is a marvelous encapsulation of how tedious that show must be.

Moore had the benefit of becoming an agitator when things were comparatively normal. He's been preparing for this his entire adult life.

Peter Riegert is a perfect straight man in the 30rock/UKS mold; a normal person who's found some balance with the absurdity around them (ie the shuttle for confused perverts).

That's unfortunate. I remember the first two seasons being the best by a long mile.

The double-reveal that Peralta and Diaz had surreptitiously flanked Holt was my favorite part of the episode, and this episode had Adrian Pimento in it. DOING BLOW.

I think NBC is trying to figure out what to do with these short-but-not-quite-mini-series. The Good Place's schedule was stretched out longer than it should have been, and Trial & Error was rushed out in six weeks.

Mr Branca ruled this ep. Like me, he thinks the Belchers are cool kids.

Yeah, but as a counterpoint, viewers may be less likely to keep Netflix if they can't count on material staying there. A 3 month window is particularly egregious since they rarely announce anything coming or going with more than two weeks notice.

The headline of the review had me hooked, but then I realized it was helmed by Bruno "How little can be said in two and half hours?" Dumont. Brevity is wit.

I'm perplexed by how fast some films come and go on Netflix. They added the Christopher Reeve Superman films, only to pull them THREE months later. Now the same is happening to Jurassic Park 1-3. Are they really negotiating for rights that last less than a year?

I can see unboxing/unwrapping videos making sense in a collectible market (Like Magic or other CCGs) but aren't loot crates the exact same every month?

Zoo—opolis was low-hanging fruit, but funny. I suspect that Kenan's "my mistake… I misread it" bit was something they changed between dress and air to try to make the cast break, like they used to with Stefon.

Apparently, her natural speaking voice is a dead ringer for Nasim Pedrad's "weird teen who thinks her parents are the coolest."

Off the top of my head, Chevy Chase did a cameo in LA Story, but they didn't appear together.

Despite the main character, so far the show has played a lot more like a DC Vertigo series from the 90's/00's.

I REALLY want it to be Mojo, because the metafiction of Mojo being the primary antagonist of a TV show is just weird enough to make perfect sense.
