C'mon, Alurin.  It's an integral part of the movie.

I remain convinced that the show secretly takes place in new York and the characters are just very confused.

Well, shit.

It's probably the smart move, as the -ster suffix seems to signify internet flash in the pan (Napster, Friendster).

Phantasms also has that great scene where Data asks Worf to take care of his cat.  It's funny, but it's also really sad, since it's obvious Data is freaked out (or as close as he ever gets pre-chip) about what's happening and feels helpless.

When the characters themselves are making references to Harry Potter, it borders on parody.

I think the brimstone speech plays a lot like the opening of Inglorious Basterds, which probably has its detractors as well.

If you ever get a call from a talent scout, assume I just made several million dollars and decided to buy a team.

Hank went straight up Columbo right there.  The whole thing was nutty and couldn't possibly be true… There's just one more thing…

The Magicians
I had very high expectations, but aside from the stunning "frozen in time" introductionof the Beast, this book seemed like much less than the sum of its pastiche parts. It was too self-aware and too obnoxious.

fastandsloppy has it right. Wonder Woman isn't some weird, unknowable concept. David E. Kelley has just become too preoccupied with what (he thinks) young professional women are like.

We're not at the point where i can like AV comments on facebook, so I have to do this manually, Judge.

I love love LOVE The Else, but recent interviews make it sound like TMBG aren't very happy with it. Schade.

Man, it'll be weird if Blockbuster becomes competitive with Netflix again. (They're not right now, but I could see another price hike bringing them even.)

I got your back, CN. The day I heard the studio version of Better Back Off was the day I realized that it was good to be human.

Spader excites me the most as a viewer. He's about as far from Michael Scott as a boss figure can get, but he can still inspire shitty (but hilarious) work conditions. Him and Dwight could be an amazing arc.

Also, isn't Jennifer Tilly a big deal in Celebrity Poker?

I was desperately concocting scenarios that would put Anne in the Julia Roberts/Pretty Woman outfit.

The album preview EP was released today.
I'm not really digging Linnell's lounge-y half of I Never Knew Love. It's a shame, as I feel like they should do more duets.
