What I really loved about it was how everyone in the film was deeply competent and all directed towards the same goal. I mean basically every human on earth was pulling for the guy to get home. Something about that just got me. Cried like a baby.

One of my favorites, and I still play. Though I prefer the later editions where you can also play as the bosses, and with the addition of turbo. Everything about it is so damn good. Didn't really care for any of the subsequent games though.
