That's enough out of you, Governor Perry.
That's enough out of you, Governor Perry.
Universal Healthcare, and most likely, not a feverish worship of capitalism at its most ruthless.
I sincerely love that in the years since, with all the shit that's happened, you still find it in your heart to hate that movie so much, because of course you would.
Putting it in those terms, Jem and The Holograms really doesn't deserve this.
It takes alot of effort to be a more hated American than Donald Trump right now but by god if Shkreli doesn't just clear that bar handily.
Lawyering up with DIFFERENT LAWYERS. That always ends well.
"If they didn't want to die, they shouldn't have gotten sick."
Mr. Shkreli testified today, repeating the only public statement he's made as Surgeon General since being confirmed.
All of this is just burnishing his bonafides to run on a GOP ticket in 2020.
I mean, I'm glad I don't have to say "Donuts" anymore, but jeez I
just get so worn out with those two syllables in "Dunkin'". What about
Duh or DuhDo?
I still think of Gyp whenever I see him. Getting angry just praying to God in that one scene, ending in him beating a priest to death.
I said the same thing above. If we keep going we'll stop at S5, the second to last episode of the season where they just have an office party for no reason. It's really celebratory and I think a good unofficial finale.
It's so awful in so many different ways. It's a genuine rorschach test of a movie where what you see bad about it reveals something about you.
THIS
I already loved in Rainbows but what really put it into orbit was tracking down Disc 2. Why they didn't just go ahead and do a double album with that one is a mystery, especially since it had been 4 years since their last album by that point.
"Cheers Season 2? That's when Sam and Diane get together I LOVE those episodes! Let just pop that in and OH GOOD LORD MY EYES"
It's number 4 for me, but that's just because OK Computer/The Bends/Kid A is so damned unimpeachable. Although sometimes it might nip at Kid A's heels.
See, everything you said sounds right up my alley. And yet, nothing when I listen to them.
Yeah that's totally another band for me too. And the Smiths, whom I actually dislike instead of being just indifferent to like PF and Tool.
My timid, easily scandalized Mom LOVED GnR. Like, she got Appetite for Destruction before my metalhead brother even did.
"Their music is great but why do they have to be such ASSHOLES." She said to me once; and that's the worst curse I've ever heard her use.
Pink Floyd is one of those bands that, on paper, I should absolutely be into but never have. My parents were big PF fans and I grew up on The Wall, Dark Side, etc, so I don't know if it's just so woven into my consciousness that I can't listen to it fresh anymore or what.
