With the DCU, there was a toxic critical reception and mixed audience reception, but great box office. This Dark Universe had both bad critical reception and a not very encouraging box office take. Plus a failed initial stab at it with Dracula Untold.
It's not like Natalie Portman, Ewan MacGregor, and Liam Neeson are slouches in the acting department.
Same. I never bought the Starbuck death. Then Moore admits that they killed her off because they needed a big moment at midseason, and then the second they killed her off, they had no idea how to bring her back.
I never listened to the BSG podcast they had going with the writers, but they'd still air segments of it after the show. I can't decide if them admitting that they had no idea what they were doing is refreshingly candid or infuriating.
