Yeah, it's probably just a countdown to streaming. Which is fine, I wouldn't mind rewatching the show. But making is seem like a new season is kind is shitty. Unless they are trying to get the internet excited to prove there is still an audience for a new season.

I love the Boltons. They just run around fucking up everyone's day. I get what your saying about Theon's story treading water but I still been enjoying it and Ramsay's crazy smile made me happy.

BOOK 5 SPOILERS
I mentioned last week and I just think it's important to set up Ramsay now, rather than sometime in season 5. He will be a pretty major villain going forward and if they introduce him too late it might seem to come out of nowhere.

I guess they didn't want to lose Theon for a year and they needed to introduce Ramsay. They need to give the viewers time to see what a crazy fucker he is.

That would make more sense if they didn't have a fat joke in every single episodes.  But maybe it just means that the writers are super lazy and repetitive

Not necessarily, as others have said right now is only a pilot script , even if he gets the role, they still have to film it and see if the pilot is picked up and that could take until after the final 8 are finished filming.
