I disagree. The first one has held up just fine. The second one less so, but gets a pass for Christopher Walken, and for the kung fu scene…

There are isolated moments in the film that are decent (I like Charles Dance declaring he just shot someone to an uncaring neighborhood) but the whole film is as uneven as hell. It's poo.

No way! Woody was still making gems well into the nineties. Bullets Over Broadway, Mighty Aphrodite, Deconstructing Harry, Manhattan Murder Mystery, Sweet and Lowdown… I guess the guy's so ubiquitous he can't keep his standard so high all the time but he still has it in him to bring his A-game…

Spielberg wants nothing to do with this film because he was outclassed by every other director involved. I have much respect for the guy, but when he fumbles the ball he fumbles it badly. His segment in the Twilight Zone movie, I think, represents his weakest work by a mile…
