OK now I've read the full interview please ignore the above post… except for the last bit.
Death at a Funeral?? The Frank Oz movie from a couple of years back??? MARTIN LAWRENCE????
Fuck Platinum Dunes
I was foolishly convinced by a friend of mine that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake was half decent. It was one of the sorriest excuses for a horror film I've ever seen (considering the original was one of the most truly unsettling films ever made; a true classic).
I'm amazed there is so much…
Will the AV Club staff be chipping in to buy Tobias a copy???
Is it as compulsively watchable as Heavy Metal Parking Lot?? That movie's amazing…
WIll Robert Zemekis make another live action movie???
Does the world need yet another fucking take on A Christmas Carol??? I'm a long time fan of the guy but I really wish he'd give the animation a rest.
Contact may be one of his weaker efforts, but there are moments (that steadicam shot out of the mirror, for…
Normally I will reserve judgment on anything until I've experienced it at least once…
… but anything with Mariah Carey's name on it automatically deserves a big fucking F.
The "unfortunate incident" really is the big, fat elephant in the room. If David can successfully mine some laughs out of it I think Richards will be on board with it. I mean, the guys basically been an outcast for three years now. Maybe taking the piss out of himself (or having the piss taken out of him by, yep,…
It always pissed me off how Moore was criticized for "tricking" Heston into the interview, like he was some harmless old man who didn't know any better. The dude was still the public face of the NRA who still had a hell of a lot of influence, and he deserved to sit there and sweat on camera while being asked some very…
Maybe it rolled all the way across town?
How could I forget Dead Set?? Thanks for reminding me, Meyer. And I completely agree with you. It's the perfect blend of Charlie Brooker's razor sharp, misanthropic wit and his genuine, sincere love of the zombie genre (hey I love Brooker and zombies so this one had me as soon as I knew of its existence!!!).
Hudsucker Proxy is hilarious…
The good thing about zombies: There is no such thing as an emo zombie.
What if I really love duck vaginas??
A new Coens movie, a cool sounding zombie movie, and a funny as hell sounding new Ricky Gervais movie…
Best fucking week for new releases since… Up and Drag Me to Hell???
Love me some zombie films…
It's a genre you really can't fuck up. The truly great ones (the first two Romero Dead movies, Braindead, Shaun, hell I'll throw 28 Days Later in) are simply great movie going experiences; the okay, but not so great ones (28 Weeks Later, Undead) are still kinda entertaining in their own way…
Me too! But sadly this film will probably not be released here in Australia for another nine years…
You're so right, John Galt. Barton Fink could have definitely done with some more hot babes, a car chase, and as a nod to Jon Peters, Barton should have fought a giant spider in the third act…
@ Admit It… You sir hit the nail on the head! Many of her films do suck, but then I look at her face, and all is forgiven…
