My Cousin Vinny…
Good, well written film. Every time I catch it on TV I still get a laugh out of it.
I'm sure mbs agrees with me…
It's all in the reflexes…
Durckk, it's called Braindead in this part of the world and indeed I own it on DVD with Meet the Feebles and Bad Taste (the running gag with the zombie vicar and the zombie nurse always trying to hump each other is comedy gold). But thanks for the tip anyway!
I think it was Ringo Starr…
Jorge, it's still a shame as it's such a fun movie to experience in a crowded theater.
I'm no expert in the matter, but the marketing for the movie was just hopeless. The posters were lazy, and the trailers gave away what feels like the entire first two acts of the film. It's really only Apatow's track record that would make me give it the time of day…
Having said that, it's kind of sad that Katherine…
I think the reason "The Collector" bombed was that no one had even heard of it til maybe the day before it was released.
I still don't understand though, on the subject of horror films, why "Drag Me to Hell" didn't make twice as much as it did…
Thought Funny People might disappoint…
I actually wanted to give it a go, but seeing Sandler belt out a 'heartfelt' cover of "Photograph" in the trailer, lets just say I'll wait for DVD…
Satre was a communist who ended his friendship with Camus because he couldn't bring him around to his political ideology. I have no beefs with anyones political persuasion but Satre held some… questionable beliefs.
Anywhere I lay my head…. public school boy, are we? Do you play Rule Britannia when you take a shit???
Fuck you guys. Zohan was hilarious…
It's kind of a bummer this sucks so much
… as the premise is kinda cool. Ah well, guess Civilization 4 will have to remain the PC game of choice til, well, whenever they release Civilization 5.
Are there any decent PC games that actually succeed at what East India Company is trying to do?
mbs, the first two are 'comedians' who are on Australia TV far more than their talent should warrant.
Wilkins is a failed musician who hosted MTV over here in the eighties, and has since moved on to become the blandest entertainment reporter in the country, no mean feat I assure you. Most likely he will be remembered…
Australia also keeps such luminaries as Dave Hughes, Peter Helliar, and Richard Wilkins from having careers in other parts of the world.
Who are they, you ask? Just be grateful you don't know…
Fox news. Certainly meets the criteria of the list…
I think it still remains pretty obvious Spinal Tap isn't real. Man Bites Dog, however, I completely agree with…
Wasn't the whole film just an excuse to dry run Weta's sfx capabilities? Either way, I've always wanted to watch this. It screened on Australian TV maybe once at two in the morning, and I've never come across it on the net.
Having said that, Peter Jackson always seemed to have a pretty wicked sense of humour, I'd love…
Dark Side of the Moon
I'm kind of amazed this one was overlooked. It basically is about Stanley Kubrick's "faked" moon landing that was shown to the world as real forty years ago. Yes, it's a bit of cliched conspiracy, but since they roped in Chrstianne Kubrick, Jan Harlan, Henry Kissinger and, amazingly, Donald…
Wrong movie, Wee Dougie. You're thinking of The Piano…
