Arlington Road was pretty decent, certainly better than the generic thriller it was marketed as.
Krugers big sin against screen writing was his work on Scream 3. From what I heard he had to work from a rough treatment by Kevin Williamson, and perhaps that was shitty as well, but goddam that movie was a fucking mess…

A Shivers remake would work fine. In fact they could just pick the narrative up straight after the original stopped, as a horde rape-obsessed "zombies" are descending on Montreal.

It saddens me to see what a whore Cleese has become. Rat Race, Pluto Nash, Charlies Angels: Full Throttle, basically any half-assed movie requiring a pompous Brit and there he is…

Con Air and Face/Off are leagues better than The Rock. The Rock is directed by Michael Bay, is about half an hour too long, takes itself far too seriously, and is directed by Michael Bay…

Munich was awesome… until that fucking sex scene.

Foxxs' inexplicable legitimacy in Hollywood baffles me. The guy has had his toes in film, tv, music, stand up comedy, and somehow managed to suck in every single one.
My theory= he gives the best blow job in town…

I've never seen it, but I have a couple of usually trustworthy friends who tell me Stealth is worth a watch for it's epic crapness.
I'm surprised Rabin hasn't pounced on it yet, actually…

Kevin Costner! Christian Slater! Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio! Now there's a cast still capable of making bank…

This stars Shannen Doherty, right???
And the man that every woman secretly fantasizes about during climax, William Devane…

I ain't got time to bleed….

"No no no, the problem was we had a scale model of Stonehenge that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf…".
Those words spoken in Nigel's clueless accent still make me laugh when I think about it…

Both these men are awesome…

I think Wahlberg is only as good as who his director is, but hell yeah I thought his film career would be over by 1996 so he's obviously doing something right…
Oh and he sucked monkey balls in Planet of the Apes. Zing!

Bay co-wrote the script for this as well…
… so you know it's good.

The contents of your post is now the property of Capitol Pictures…

You're right, ricin, I should rephrase, more THEATRICALLY RELEASED Nic Cage movies…

Agreed. Amazing movie all the way only tainted by cheap irony at the end.
Has anyone seen Sorcerer? How close a remake is it to Wages of Fear???

Dante 01
Never heard of this before but it is directed by Marc Caro, so based on my love of Delicatessen and City of Lost Children I may have to buy this site unseen….

ZMF I'd love to know what you do for a living…

Frankly I'm amazed at how long Knowing has stuck around the top ten…
… seriously how has word of mouth kept this one going??? Bangkok Dangerous was a discount DVD five weeks after it's opening weekend.
The relative success of this movie can only mean one thing; more Nic Cage movies. What good does that do anyone???
