Oh my yes.

It's sometimes a shame that they're so important now.

Mine as well. :)

All I recall of "Nekromanteia" is my reaction: "What just happened, and why did it happen?"

Well, I love "The Leisure Hive". Different strokes, etc.

As I recall, John Nathan-Turner pulled him back. Fortunately, Season 18 is all the better for it. As much as I love watching Tom Baker cut up, the somewhat more serious 4th Doctor of that season helps set the tone for his impending death, right up to "Logopolis", which is positively funereal.

I like Simm and Gomez very much when they're not acting like damn goofballs.

"THE GODDAM SEA DEVILS".

Oh, yeah, I remember yesterday! Man, that was great…

HOW long have you been reading The AV Club?

"George Clooney! You stopped the bridge from collapsing and saved all those people!"

Apparently his career was fairly short… I doubt many people even remember him.

NEVER BE GUILTY ABOUT "DOCTOR WHO".

"… my mom made personalized Los Pollos Hermanos bags to hold our fried chicken, and baked a cake in the shape of a burnt teddy bear for dessert."

You're right of course, and I'd agree with you on those other examples, but given the context, as well as clues in the song itself and the way it's typically performed, there's every indication that she's a willing participant in this game.

*sigh*

"BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE" IS NOT ABOUT DATE RAPE.

Philip Sandifer said, apparently without irony, that it might be the greatest "Who" story ever.

The season finale of "Hannibal" was PROBABLY the greatest piece of drama I've ever seen on TV. No lie.

Swilling greasy rutabaga vodka from an old uranium cannister?
