People do seem constricted when talking about things to look up.  Anyone with common sense KNOWS certain superpopular one- or two-word things in google won't bring up shit. Sometimes you might have to trial and error it a few times, but a little common sense goes a long way.

They're insanely easy to find on, like, soulseek.  You'd think it'd bring up a lot of silly pop punk bands with song titles like "CHEETOS! FUCK YEAH!!" or "BELLADONNA!!!" but it doesn't.  I found thr!!!er in 2 seconds, shared by 50 people.

Type in "[any band name ever] last.fm [or discogs, rateyourmusic, etc]" into google and that'll land you where you need to go. Or just put a genre signifier or place of origin of record label affiliate next to the band name.

It's a cool name. Very distinct and I kinda figured out how they sounded just from the name.  You're not going to get a doom metal band named !!!, that's for damn sure.  Dancey liquid rave-ups with funky as fuck basslines and epic songs that make you sweat gallons before they're over… !!! personifies that.

I'm sure the Whitest Kids U Know probably would've done something like that if they'd stayed on the air a bit longer…. to me, it seems like they were trying to often do a throwback to some of these 90's shows… just not as good.
