Django's not the lead?

I kinda love this inventive, daring, fun movie.  My favorite part is when Willis falls through a floor and then the film cuts to him falling through a roof into the chair of some villains in a completely different building. I've never seen a film cut like that before and it just highlights the absurdity of the

That remidns me, has anyone here ever read the fake script for "Trucker's Deluxe", the "Script" that "leaked" before season 5's premiere?  It's hilariously awful though some of it could honestly be on the show — most of it just sucks though: http://redsharkinteractive….

He sounds like a renegade angel.

3 DOlla Bill Y'all$ still holds up as an interesting little nu-metal mini-classic. The Ross Robinson produced shit of that era (KoRn's dark-as-fuck first two, SlipKnot's s/t, Amen's shit, and so on) are pretty awesome and the first LB is no different. Counterfeit and Sour and Stuck and Pollution and Indigo Flow are

True story: I bought a DVD player back in the day specifically to get the box sets of this show.  I mean, a DVD player is indispensable now but back in the day, with my 1600 VHS's, I wasn't sold.  But THIS SHOW. Man. Maybe it'd convinced me to get a blu-ray player, too. Nah.

My 5 responses, I can't choose which one is most appopriate for the av club so you get em all:
1) I'd rather her come back in pog form.
2) If you're so smart, explain this, Clarissa. POW.
3) Clarrisa never really explained shit.
4) *ladder hits house* "Hi, Sam." *surf guitar chord tremolo arm wOOowoOWOoow* "Hey,

See, to me, a B+ implies "utterly fantastic." It's that plus sign. Without it, it'd just be "fantastic". Or "utter". But not both.

I actually like the remake of 12 Angry Men better than the original…. and Lumet is one of my favorite directors…

I definitely think Terraform is a "for fans" record since the hardcore fans love the repetition and minimalism (though still retaining very complex structures) of the band, whereas "Prayer to God" is a more casual fan's listen, what with its simple riffing, structure, short length, and crude lyrics.  TERRAFORM is a

I was really hoping  Coma  would be good… the ads — and Lauren Ambrose's involvement — gave it this feeling of an edgy, Six Feet Under-ish atmosphere… but it ended up sucking.

A 1984 red Toyota Tercel is my dream car. Toyotas rule almost always and the car strongly resembles a Geo Spectrum, so I bet it gets great gas mileage. Also, 4 doors for a car that small = awesome.

Probably the all-around least-funny, most boring, worst episode of this whole series. A+? Nah.

I recently read "This Charming Man" (self-titled version) had 11 (!) guitar tracks on it, including one where it was just Marr throwing a knife at his guitar. Pretty cool.

Facing the camera is probably traditionally breaking the 4th wall but isn't necessarily a break, since nearly every Godard film and Kitano film used those looking-into-camera shots and they aren't always out to break the 4th wall (Godard usually is, though not always).  I am more interested in examples besides people

It is, if you look in the right places. Email me at mr adam cooley @ hotmail . com [delete all the spaces, obviously] and I will point you in the right direction.

Thanks for this, THE WOMAN CHASER is one of my favorite films of all time…

My vote would be Shellac saying "we only have 2 songs left" and then launching into at least 15-minutes of "End of Radio" and THEN doing "didn't we deserve a look at the way you really are?" which is probably 15 ish minutes long, though it seemed shorter live that night.  It was awesome.

Weird, I recorded a noise-rock tribute to joy division called "hate will bring us together"
