I popped by to check the AV club grade before watching, saw the title image and then spent my time watching the episode waiting for him to die =(
Apparently the picture Guthrie saw was of her and Thomas Hamilton, the earl of Haddington.
Not sure I'd go straight to guilty pleasure, but I definitely found this FUN. Hoping they can build a convincing series out of it. Definitely going to be watching regardless though.
traditional pirate hooker garb naturally.
I think she might have met Robin in the past because she is involved in playing at the wedding and clearly it wasn't Barney who set that up? Of course there are a ton of reasons that her band in particular might be playing, but I think there's a pretty plausible tie in they can make there.
This was the greatest. I've been so excited about seeing how they'd handle this plot, but at the same time a bit nervous that they might drop the ball. I should have had more faith because they've completely knocked it out of the park so far. Absolutely cannot wait to see how things play out. Must watch TV.
He got Peralta to set aside his ego and utilise the talents of the rest of the department in aid of a common goal ;)
Can they all guest star? Please? Even Dave!
lets hope fox don't share that sentiment…
I thought it was just Donna taking some control of the relationship. She knows what she wants out of it, and she's not going to just let Stephen make all the plans for them for however long he's around.
I had no issue with it really because I'd expect people who learn of a shared interest via something silly like that to subsequently acknowledge it. I felt the reference would have been awkward without the characters connecting somewhat over it.
I'm 100% convinced she was fed to Bedelia. The choice of Veal seemed telling to me, as did the reference to it being a controversial dish (though perhaps more telling to Hannibal and Bedelia's relationship?)
I enjoyed that a hell of a lot.
Pretty sure there was a Busta Rhymes joke in there too.
