Friday: As part of the process of becoming a DJ at my university's college radio, I have to listen to a few of the innumerable CD's that they are sent on a weekly basis and tell em what's worth playing. I listened to Ginkgo, which is a side project of one of the dude's from Tapes 'n Tapes, which kind of tells you

Friday: I drove to stay with my roommate from the year previous before we moved into our dorm on Saturday, so I took the three and a half hour drive as an opportunity to listen to multiple albums I had listened to parts and parcels of, but never in full:

Who fuses the music with no illusions, producing the blueprints? Clueless?

Washed Out- "Feel It All Around"
Coolio- "Gangsta's Paradise" (NO SHAME)
My Morning Jacket- "Librarian"
SBTRKT ft. Sampha- "Hold On"
Bauhaus- "Bela Lugosi's Dead"

One week later, and I can't help but agree. Definitely a solid listen, but after the first four tracks, everything just blends together without any real distinct songs to speak of.
