Memento and the Prestige included?
Actually, scratch all of that. Henry Alan Venture was born for the role. You might even say it's his… Destiny.
Officer Barbrady.
Seasons 5 and 6 were both ordered for 10 half hours, so said half-assing will continue, unless the movie wasn't outright cancelled and is folded into the season.
Seconded on the Tubular Bells reference. My friend and I were lost in our collective laughter.
The Monarch mentioned his wife was now his boss, so I'd assume she took the position.
I'd have to agree with you there. It wasn't bad, but every other season finale has been outright explosive. Season 1 had the boys dying, Season 2 ended with an epic battle and the revelation that David Fucking Bowie was the leader of the GCI, and Seasons 3 and 4 I shouldn't even have to recap to you people.
Wow.
You're not alone. I read the first trade, albeit in a hurry, on a lonely Friday night in Barnes & Noble (We still have those!) a few months back, and other than Chiang's fantastic art, I really didn't see what the fuss was all about, and the scene in question left me scratching my head as well.
@avclub-28b1819668d7c62501acb9852cad10a9:disqus , nothing is really being done with those Outsiders anyway, and Barbara Gordon could very well have been… re-crippled (Christ that is a retarded idea) and that future wasn't even totally canon anyway, so the point is moot.
Three words: Eat the pennies.
If it weren't for the fact that DC felt the need to publicize it days before, which gave me time to accept it, I probably would have shed many a tear as well, seeing as Morrison's Batman and Robin run is what got me back into buying monthlies as a young adult.
It would appear that the second volume is more or less what Morrison originally intended, only with the New 52 costumes and sans the characters whose New 52 histories (Oracle, Catwoman, or in the case of Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain, having no history at all) directly contradict what had come before in…
@avclub-cd1db6bdaab0f94ac28022bf20b6d1a6:disqus , I wasn't disagreeing, it was more of a cheap pot shot at Taylor Swift. "Blame Game" is fantastic, repetitive Chris Rock skit and all.
@avclub-fec1b8d3fbc08f27a84e5a334d45bb5a:disqus , so you're essentially saying that Blame Game is better than T Swift's entire discography?
Jesus Jones!…
Take this, brother, may it serve you well.
