If this show doesn't adapt this scene at any point during it's run, count me out.
What @avclub-62ae6d9e1a24836a391716549223464f:disqus said. I read it on that link and posted it a few weeks back- I'm of the mind that it's better than Watchmen, but I fully recognize I'm probably in the minority there.
@avclub-2abf2b82c099047f2d089c7e7abe42b1:disqus, or alternatively, Issue 16, where the opening text managed to reduce this particular commenter to tears.
@avclub-ecbdad96460f85751944de9d6c2d50fe:disqus, you failed to mention Miracleman there.

That story was one of many contributing factors in me deciding to drop "Batman". Snyder can certainly write a good story when we wants to, but it seems to me that's he content to coast on good-will and a not entirely deserved reputation.

Parts of Season One of YJ? Oh, most definitely. But Young Justice: Invasion was 20 episodes of pure superhero eyeball dopamine- maybe it didn't reach Cadmus heights, but it was just as good as upper tier JLU.
I'm pretty sure "What You Need" was the only song that lost it's sample- that's why it's the only song off the "House of Balloons" mixtape that's still in my Spotify queue.
I think it's closer in proximity to Fuck Valley.
I'm fairly certain the official Weeknd website took them down after Trilogy went for sale, but I'm sure they aren't That hard to find.
Damn, sounds like Hova really changed the game on this one.
Through a series of events too convoluted to explain here, I ended up paying $150 dollars to get to and from one of the Weeknd's first American concerts in the absence of a car. Other than almost getting my ass kicked by a faux-Drake who thought I was grinding on his girl because I lost my collective shit during "The…
I take raw coke, cook it crack, saran wrap it
So, is it actually any good? Given that it seems like Jay-Z hashed it out in order to make a quick buck, because he needs it SOOOOOOO badly right now, I have next to 0 interest in actually checking it out.
Dude, it's fiction- it would have been weirder if Hatred and Doc didn't end up right next to the asylum.
I think comparing The AV Club to IGN is… a little unfair. I'll let you decide to which.
@Dikachu:disqus , I'm pretty sure Jackson said that they'll find some bullshit use for them- probably at cons or something. If they do some promotion where you send in your HankBucks to cop some cool merchandise, I'll be all over that, given that for better or for worse, I bought a Shirt Club subscription.
Superman: Red Son is excellent- if this is truly your first traditional comics purchase, it is certainly an great place to start. Some of the gags about DC mythology might be lost on you, but it shouldn't detract from the read.
