I thought that as well- it's the 60's X-2. Pretty sure Jonas Jr. stripped the current X-2 for parts as per the Pirate Captain in "The Silent Partners".

Including the Halloween special, there seem to be 9 episodes this season- the order was for Seasons 5 and 6 to be 10 episodes, and the premiere took up two of them. Bar any unforeseen revelation that the last two episodes are a one hour bonanza, it looks like we'll be getting four more weeks of Venture this year.

@Dikachu:disqus, "Would be?". Everyone knows each other from college in far too complicated to go over here relations, we have baby-momma drama, secret revelations regarding parentage of bastard children… Venture crossed the soap opera threshold a long time ago.

My personal bottom five:

Yeah, @RedScarab:disqus, I like to think that Lincoln was just cracking wise. Because otherwise…ew. And it seems out of character for the two of them.

@avclub-a6fdefb2b99177b152b2392b43097665:disqus, Koechner definetly has the physicality for Gathers (hell, Hunter S. Thompson period), but his penchant to take things ridiculously over the top really works for both characters.

"This Little Piggy" is great, but I genuinely feel in my heart of hearts that the Cadmus arc is one of the best things to come out of the DC Universe in all media formats. I felt like I was watching the West Wing with superheroes.

Very excited for these reviews- I have yet to watch JL in full, but I binged on JLU a few months ago, and it stands, in my opinion, at the apex of superhero adaptations. I really hope these reviews run consecutively, because I'm chomping at the bit to discuss "The Once and Future Thing" and the Cadmus arc.

I'm never gonna wipe my butt.

I wanna meet that Dad!

It might be a little early, but if this season keeps up like this, it's looking like 3>2>5>1>4, for me at least.

Holy shit, @avclub-bf96708cdf085ba206fc100ee802b4bb:disqus, that never occurred to me, but now I couldn't see it any other way. He'd have to ingest an elephant-ton of growth hormones sure, but that's perfect.

If you're quoting Ward, don't you mean 'Hours'?

Years ago, I watched one episode of Grey's Anatomy- it ended with Seth Green's throat exploding in a geyser of blood. If the entire series consisted of celebrities suffering ridiculous to the point of comic bodily injuries, this would have been at the top of my must-watch list.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo, what the hell is that?

Is that the time Doc had an allergic reaction from the belt material?

"Ooh, that's what she said!"

Don't forget Alive 2007, which happens to be this commenter's favorite live album. It was the first Daft Punk album I listened to in full, so when I went back and listened to the studio albums, it became a really rewarding experience to hear those snippets expanded into 5 minute tracks.

Agreed on Monster's U. I'm of the age group who saw Monster's Inc. when they were little kids and are in college now, so it hit a special place for me. My only criticism of the film was really any time they tried to shoehorn Monster's Inc continuity into it- Randall's hamfisted justification for hating Sully in

But… Johnny Deeper!
