Listen, as someone who watched "I Love New York" for shits and giggles almost devotedly with friends back in the day, there is a very soft, and ultimately misguided place in my heart for shitty mid 2000's VH1 reality shows. And just like every other obscure reference I thought I would be the only person to get (MEGO

Seriously, this is the first time I've ever actually LIKED Dean. Until this season, he was always my least favorite character. I never got the fan-girl love, although I suspect having a penis may have had something to do with that.

I posted this in the "What Color is Your Cleansuit?" discussion, but I actually wrote a paper titled, appropriately enough, "In Defense of Hatred" for the Venture Studies series of academic papers Adult Swim helped to put out: http://venturestudies.com/v…

Given the tightknit little Venture Bros. AV Club community we've got here, I figured I'd go ahead and ask a semi-personal and overly geeky question: has anyone here loved a show so damn much that it's a strain to sit back and enjoy it without over-analyzing it? Both this week's and last, I found it hard to just soak

A lot of people have often put forth the idea that in addition to the, what is it now, three sets of Venture Bros. that are on the show, that the Monarch and Rusty are brothers, primarily for their similar character designs.

That would be The Venture Bros.

In at least one of the promotional videos for the Season, there was a scene with 21 walking in on the Monarch and Dr. Mrs. in his old Henchman attire. I don't want  the plot to go down that route either, but it's a legitimate possibility.

Defining artist of the aughts? Most definitely. Generation? Let's give it another five to ten years before we make that call.

Solid read, and while I agree wholeheartedly, the more important question is

I dare you to make less sense!

No sign of Blaculas, although I'm not prepared to rule out Caucasian Vampires.

It seemed to me that they gave Hatred a Captain America-esque Super Soldier serum, and pedophilia happened to be a side effect. I need to give the episode a re-watch, but that's how it occurred to me.

Was it clear whether that moment, and by association, Hatred's pedophilia was caused by that Super Soldier serum, or whether they were trying to cure it? I'm working off of 4 hours of sleep, so I may have missed something.

Which means Doc intentionally killed clones of his sons in order to fulfill a military contract. Which, wow.

Without turning my TV back on, given that I half-heartedly intend on going to sleep in the next half hour, I know I also saw Reco from the Halloween Special on that boat, along with the supervillain who inquired if Jefferson only hunted African American vampires in "Fallen Arches".

HOT DOLPHIN!

B+ for the Giant Size Man-Thing and Oompa Loompa's alone.

Woah, it's like a Koala Bear crapped a rainbow in my brain!

No way! Thanks for the heads-up.

Am I the only person here who has watched, much less heard of Dead Set? Anyone?
