I feel like I'm probably the only person who fell in love with Bowie at a young age from Ashes to Ashes and the live rendition of Station to Station from Stage. Anyone?

Seconded. By the time I actually got around to listening to Station to Station in it's entirety, I was really disappointed by how subdued the actual studio version of the title track was. I've come around since, but the Stage version will always have the edge in my eyes.

Recently got my roommate into the show, the consensus seems to be that this was the best season premiere since the 1st.

I think I speak for everybody when I saw that thus far, Season 2 has been a massive improvement over Season 1, if only for the fact that I can't think back to any point in S1 where we got four consecutive episodes of this quality. Very excited for what the next sixteen weeks have in store.
