Yeah, in a way Mulder is more important to this episode exactly because he's not directly involved.  Scully's experiences with Ritter prove that Mulder is - in a non-shipping sense - still her true partner.

I deeply enjoyed "Prism Eyes", the album they made as Reading Rainbow.  Should have guessed they wouldn't be able to keep that name.  But yeah, if Blondie were just Debbie Harry and Chris Stein and she played drums, I could see them sounding like this.
