The guy who forgot to... um

Jeremy Irons had to drink so much to forget doing that voiceover.

Yeah, at least the animators got to do some cartoon cheesecake.  They did that in "The Devil Wears Nada", though, and that was a better episode.

'N Sync doing propaganda for the Navy was surprisingly enjoyable.

That's exactly it.  Sometimes you have to wonder if the writers know or care about their own characters.

Lady G did get a good moment near the end when Moe said something like "Make me feel good about myself" and she said "I'm not that good."  More of that would have made the episode better.

What I found disappointing about the episode was that it feinted toward dealing - however awkwardly - with a good ongoing quiestion: Why do so many people loathe Lisa Simpson.  She's mildly annoying but mostly well-intentioned, yet in real life as well as on the show she gets these over the top negative responses.

Glad something good came out of it.

Bill Hader is more the one in the Aykroyd role, especially the impressions part.  I'm not sure who Sudeikis is like, aside from Will Ferrell maybe.

Not in the cast at the same time, no.

Aside from the musical interludes, "Do You Think You Can Dance At An Outdoor Music Festival" was the highlight for me.  We've seen Steven Tyler's Mick Jagger for years, so it's a treat to see Jagger's Steven Tyler.  That plus the Santana sight gag.

For me, the first seven approximate minutes drag.  We already know that totalitarianism is bad, although admittedly it looks a little cooler when the edicts are handed down by a boxing announcer and carried out by a modern dance troupe.
