I always liked poetry, when I was a wee lad, that seemed to suggest strange things without quite making anything explicit. I was, therefore, a big fan of TS Eliot, whose Waste Land seemed to mean whatever I thought it meant until the next time I read it, and The Hollow Men, which is just gorgeous. I also was a big fan

What about the walking dead? I'm not sure of the rules on that.

Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying these reviews every week. Carnivale was the first show I watched steadily on HBO and I loved the atmosphere and apocalyptic tone, even as I sometimes pulled my hair out at the sluggish movement of the story. Man, I miss this show.

Does it make me a pawn of the corporate oligarchy that I'll watch this? It's just, it's a Western, and I can't resist. I even watch Hell on Wheels, so I know I'd watch this. I mean, it couldn't be as bad as that one, right?

Why, God, why? Why have you forsaken us? … Oh well, after all the teeny boppers see this, we can get a new, fresh update of Scanners. They have psychic powers, like the X-Men! It's a new franchise! It will be hip! And this, Hollywood, is why we can't have nice things.
