Roles matter
What is this trend of Oscar nominees and winners picking such terrible roles afterward? It's like the in thing now. Terrance Howard, Charlize Theron, Meryl Streep, Jamie Foxx, Halle Berry, Hilary Swank, etc etc etc etc.

Maybe it just hadn't come out yet. But I checked on several movie listings sites (like Fandango) for multiple cities nearby including Austin, and it came up with no showings each time.

Well, for having a million and a quarter of people, it's not like it's so small…pretty much, SA just has a big ego when all they really have is the Spurs. Sadly, there is no sense of art or culture in this city. One day I hope to move far away.

San Antonio isn't releasing anything good. I have really been looking forward to Atonement since June, only to find that when Dec 7th came it was not to be shown in my city, and neither was Juno. And it's not even in nearby cities like Austin that usually have these kinds of things…
