Don't they have writers that write ALL of the jokes for everyone that isn't an actual comedian? I'm almost positive that the Situations set was a combination of getting convoluted jokes from said writers and him having piss-poor timing. That still doesn't answer the question of WHY HE WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

If the writers had not been afraid of change, this show could have really gone places…They could have made Bill transition to a full-on crazy cult leader. It would have been fascinating.
