I wonder if RAF is that 13-year-old kid from SportsDome last night?

But hey, that dune buggy looked fun, di'in it?

Yeah… she's a gorgeous dame, but I don't know if she feels like the right fit for the role. Perhaps if I try her on for size… *wink wink nudge nudge*

Thanks, Whovian. I choked on my coffee.

To be fair, I'd probably take her up on that offer, just to be able to do that male chauvinist/demeaning star-fuckery "yeah, I hit that, no big deal" thing when talking about her.

Reasons? Simple. They're the only games in town, so they can do whatever they want and we have to stick with them or quit being typical 'Merrkuns.

I didn't watch (save for the opening monologue online)
but just that and the photo above makes the Golden Globes seem as yawnworthy as ever to me. I didn't think he was that bad… hell, if Hollywood heard some of the things people I know say, they'd probably slit their wrists. I say they just hug it out and move on.

Maybe a little more portmanteau next time. Portmanteaus are fun. Portfunteaus are.

She sure makes a pretty cute looking Jackie O, though…

Wise-crackin' minority nerd: get the black kid from "Wishbone," add sass.

Holy living fuck it's Rad Tad Simpson…!

He's on fire!

He's heating up…

Watching child actors whom are children of adult actors we already know well is always fascinating to me, seeing the mannerisms et al. that they pick up (or genetically inherit?) from their parents (see Colin/Tom, Jaden/Will Smith, Damon Jr./Damon Sr. Wayans).

I've read an interview with a former Apple employee once before that said Jobs eats the cafeteria at least once a week, and is usually pretty cordial and friendly with the employees.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I read that Verizon is offering one of those "Mobile Hot Spot" things when you buy the phone. I just assumed if they were doing that, that gratis tethering was a factor. Crazy telecoms… what can you do?

Seriously—I seem to remember Apple, HP, Dell, and Microsoft are the biggest names contracting with Foxconn… and I've never understood this whole "real computer vs. toy" bullshit as more than counter-elitism. Then again, I'm one of those guys that uses Apple products for work, and isn't a cultist or a "bandwagoner."

I read a liveblog type thing. It wasn't Apple's call entirely. Verizon wanted it NAO!, and Apple couldn't fit the tech in the box in time. To me, it almost sounded like they wanted to but both companies saw the dollar signs as the exclusivity deal reached its terminus.

Speaking of data connection, if Verizon were to roll out tethering for no added fees, and maybe allow multiple tethered connections at once, that would make AT&T look pretty stupid, wouldn't it?

That's the one, Protocol Droid. Thanks a bunch.
