He probably should've recognized it earlier, but I doubt he would've expected it to explode like that anyway.

It took me way too long to get the Reynes/Rains thing.

I can't pick out the minor members right away, but the Kingsguard armor is somewhat distinct.

The soundtrack is on iTunes and one of the tracks is called Three Blasts, which I guess is the same song as in that trailer. It'd be a hell of a cliffhanger though.

How likely that is depends on what they meant when they said it had been there a long time. Did they mean months, years, decades, centuries?

@olivececile:disqus At that point, Arya was missing. When the Lannister men start killing all the Stark men, and the knights fight Syrio, Arya runs away and never goes back. The show just never checks in with her until she goes to see the public confession/execution of Ned and Yoren finds her.

There was a broken horn, and I think Jon at one point did wonder if it was the Horn of Winter.

In the book, you got half a chapter of that before Theon basically confirms they are alive at the end. I wonder if part of difference is that in the show, when the bodies come out, it's the end of an episode and not the middle of the episode.

He isn't trying to convince the wildlings that Jon isn't his friend, but that Jon betrayed him/wants to join the wildlings. If they think Jon is just another captured crow, it'd be harder for him to gain their trust.
