It was really really good. Our baker is amazing! They've also done the cake Marge made for Homer to ruin, and the one Mr. Burns pops out of in Smithers' imagination.

Add me to the list of Twilight Princess lovers. IMO the game is just about perfect. It is beautiful, very epic, and the storytelling is involved in such a holistic way. Sure there's awkward parts, but even my favorite books or albums have a weak section. Only thing I don't think my household has decided, is if we'll

so great, so influential.

I helped introduce the world to Okilly Dokilly through the Simpsons themed blog I started, FLIMSpringfield.net and propagated it to other sites.

Always adored Commander USA. I suppose it has been posted elsewhere in this thread, but would like to add, I always thought he might be John Ratzenberger (Cliff) from Cheers.

He and Campbell have both talked about how their 8mm stuff should be left to disappear, but that's silly imo. How could it hurt a persons rep, when they're come so far? You'd think a—seemingly—good hearted and goofy guy like Rami would be willing to embrace his DIY roots. tisk tisk.
Well, at least this is getting let

this is a top 10 movie for me, one of the flicks I watch every year. There's so much style, and just enough substance to make it worth examining as well as enjoying.
Such a great film.

Rami and Campbell also did a couple of longer films on 8mm that they would tour around town showing for fun. Remastering and releasing those, along w/ this in some kind of set would be a nice treat.

ALIAS is def one of Marvel's most serious, oft overwrought books, but it did have some humor, pretty natural and realistic. It'll be interesting to see what transcends from the book

I'm thinking of the deconstructive fun Kaufman could have had w/ this tech if it were available in his heyday.

Having read each issue so far, I can assure you its more than just one joke—there's usually about a half dozen jokes per page. Ryan North has won both Harvey and Eisner awards for writing, he knows how to tell fun stories that work for across age groups. My only complaint is that SG tends to be very quip centric, as

I don't have too great a memory of this, but I saw it as a high school senior in a theater with my first girlfriend—and of people her mom and younger sister. I remember the Shakespeare stuff overlapping well w/ Phoenix's story in a way that made sense. I think I got what was going on, w/ Reeves character not existing

I'll stick to my collection of old commercials, public service announcements, and "how to" 7inch records. It's only about half as useless, and I'll bet much more fun.

Finally, I can say "I'll never be that person", and mean it.

I'm digging on that B&W striped Snowball II dress. Considering.

Can't wait to see this!

I have to say, the excessive use of the word bullshit in this review seems uncalled for.
Anyway, as far as episodes go, I've always felt this one was on the 'Evidence of Decline' list. As Rowan points out, there's a good through line, and the jokes come at a good pace, but it all feels 'off model' like it needed

In description, that sounds like the most inappropriate thing ever. In execution, some of the best horror comics of the past … 10, 20, 30 years? The awareness by readers of the whole genteel history of the Archie comics line—even if you haven't read it—does so much to make the horror meaningful and poignant.

Didn't know that, I'm unaware of most of her generations history. Appreciate the note.
