eh, Favreau was just a bit player, acting for an easy
pay/work and not because he was THE GUY to play Happy Hogan. I'm not saying it is always a disaster, but actor/writer/director doesn't usually work out so well well Actor is at top of the resume alongside "also writes".

you know what's always a good idea, letting actors rewrite a script for the movie they're in :/

Maybe I'd say Chikara requires a broader suspension of disbelief? It isn't that you have to turn it off, you just have to let it be very flexible?

There was a great article in Atomic Elbow about Regal's career a couple issues back, and how he never did a title push, but still has potential for one. That would be something, Regal going thru guys like Kane and threats to tear the belt out of someone's cold.unconscious.hands. (Obviously not Brock or Rollins)
I don't

I love the idea of turning Kane back into a legit thread, but at his age and all they've done to negate his old character is just too much. I'd always hoped there was a chance of him being the guy to finally take Undertaker out of the picture for good, because wow would that put a button on the years of stories they

I've read a couple negative pieces on this Miz v. Mizdow battle for the brand thing, and I can't understand why the iwc are so up in arms about it. There's been much much dumber stuff in wrestling before, and there's so much meta-text to it, that the idea can be as pleasing to run around as watching most current

These are simply filler to cover the sales slate while DC carpet bags to Hollywood. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they're also using it as a way to test fan reaction for a … retract-boot, or what character/story aspects they plan on bringing back in the coming year?

I was starting to think I'd imagined this movie. Really enjoyed it as a kid.

I feel that what makes this ep work as a referential meta story is that it is very well written and done as a closed loop. It is very focused on the message delivered and there is an understanding that it won't be brought up again—like the Spinoff Showcase or Poochie story. Even if it was downfall warning, the

There's many times I've felt like Frank Grimes in my life.
A controversial episode, but one of my favs.

Just watched it, I would have given ep 1 a C at best.
Guy playing Foggy was flat. out. awful. Woll was the best of the bunch, and given the most to work with. But seriously, is anyone going to whip off their shirt in front of a guy you've seen 2 times, blind or not? People don't do that.
Thought the gender and racial

I guess it shouldn't be expected from the comic, but this seems soooo slight compared to Adv' Time which is its nearest cousin. My gal points out the B&P barely have 3 or 4 episodes, so it isn't like there's a lot to build on yet.
I know the series is crowdfunded, but it takes forever for new installments it is

I got/read GI Joe v. Transformers, Bee & Puppycat, Marceline Gone Adrift (Adventure Time), and got around to reading last week's Wicked & the Divine.

I always thought that William H. Macy's character in Boggie Nights, Little Bill, was based on his look. In fact, when I first saw it I totally thought it was Lewis.
Made an idiot of myself insisting it was to a friend.
Aside: Boogie Nights came out in 1997, fvck I'm old.

fedora trilby

I still consider it cannon that Jasper is a retired pastor. It adds even more wonderful weirdness to his past like his time as a Zoot Suiter, military Service, and however it was he got that wooden leg.

I wouldn't have noticed that this is an episode marked by understated delivery, but having it examined in this critique really helps explain why it is so unique and a standout in its own way.

He's still funny, but not haha funny.

Yea, I think Ascension were set up to be straw men/wrestlers tho, and it doesn't mean the story couldn't work. Having a weak antagonist/protagonist has never stopped the wwe before.

dazzle their enemies with elegance!
