New Day was at the PHX house show I went to 2 weeks back, in a 4 way tag elimination match. Have to say the crowd was mild, but seemed to like them okay.
I was thinking, maybe they just need a more focused story to help explain their 'lets be positive' gimmick? Maybe put them against the Ascension in a Joy v Pain plot

In a theological battle against Duffman. Truly, now I've seen everything.
The world has nothing left to show, are these the Last Days?

your friend steals copper wire, or Donald Judd does (did)?
I don't think the answer matters, surely they're both experiencing the true richness of Marfa arts and culture.

Went to my 1st wwe live show since childhood. Not bad, def not worth 55 for tickets but… whatever. Low stakes to the body matches. With 1week to go til Mania everyone is playing real safe.
Pretty full house, people def' still paying for Cena.
Adam Rose, and Bo Dallas were probably the most fun of the night. Nikki v

I don't think we should get into defining what it takes to send someone else over the edge territory, that is subjective as heck.
Val has said she was in therapy for years after this, and I doubt she'd say that if she couldn't prove it, and we don't know how bad it got or how she took it.
The "it wouldn't affect me"

She did some posts on twitter yesterday and responded to Sims and the CA piece. Seems like she isn't going to accept any of it, but also does kind of seem to just want to be beyond it all.

ugh, agree, so stiff. He also never has his characters mouths open. Drives me nuts.

loved it since Daredevil, perfect combo of artist, writer, and ideas in that one.
Have I always loved everything, no, but more often than not he hits the mark.

people keep forgetting this part. If not for KJ, Ostrander & Yale wouldn't have had the impetus to do something w/ Barbara. She'd have just gotten killed off during the next BIG EVENT.

the way I understood that conspiracy thing, was that they'd been informed in advance by Val's husband (or is it exhusband) that a group was prepping to go after Sims/CA about this. He either told them, or confirmed it unwittingly with a note to them.
I don't think it was wrong to mention it because they never try to

I had a college roomie who loved him.
I was always a Manilow partisan.
We had some weird arguments.

he later did his own reggae tinged version that was …a … thing. that. happened… don't think he ever released it aside from some live album.

yup

It is tuff to say what they'd have done if he stayed healthy after Mania.
Maybe they would have let him run with things for a few months.
Trouble w/ a guy so over like he was, is it always plays better as an underdog being kept down—like Mankind under McMahon in the day. Keep him just out of reach of his prize, make

I think the most interesting way to handle the Wyatt/Taker thing would be to have it be the first match on the mania card, Wyatt is waiting in the ring. Taker's music hits and he comes out sans makeup, old/broken looking and just hands Wyatt the urn.
Turns and leaves, Wyatt looking all confused and afraid—he's never

More I read of these, more it feels like wwe is a car spinning out in the mud after a long sh*tty winter.
I do wonder how much of this seemingly awful storytelling has to do with Stuff We Don't Know About. IIRC last year everyone was sure Daniel Bryan was going to get buried by HHH, but he came out on top, only to

Agree. Such a perfect mix of elements handled to a T.

This is my all time favorite episode. I like Homer's Phobia because of it laugh-factor.
But, to exemplify what The Simpsons could do in their prime, telling a sweet real story about romance between adults, this one takes the top award imo.

I so love that era of Doom Patrol. As much good stuff as Morrison has written, I'll always hold it as my personal fav' and consider it his best.

Surprised they don't have a deal to do specials with sicfi channel or comedy central. Like 1 per quarter.
