I worry that it'd kill them tho. Too many bosses to please, fingers in the pie.

Yup, with fees n such it came to about 60. And there were much more expensive seats besides.
Not worried about the story moving along. I'm still learning about in-match storytelling, so this will be a good chance for that—see how it differs from the indie promos I see instead. Mostly tho, I figure the wrestlers won't be doing any risky/flashy moves so as to protect themselves for tv and upcoming…
yup, all that stuff. Add, when he won the title, didn't he turn a heel trick around on the Sheik? I'm at odds trying to figure how self aware Hogan was/is. Obv soon after NWO he was in on the joke, but were the promoters/writers playing to him, or going over his head w/ stuff before that? The bit w/ Andre and the…
If only Chikara had a tv deal, but than I wouldn't want them to let anyone else have say in their storytelling and I can't imagine they'd get national network/cable support without surrendering a good portion of their autonomy.
I've been thinking about this aspect for a couple years now. The NWO days were obvious in trampling on Hogan's goodboy image, but in truth his inner-selfishness always showed through and cast his character in a subversively bad light. If it hasn't already been written about, there's probably a sociological study's…
I'm going to a wwe house show next weekend. It'll be my first live wwe experience (in person or tv) since I was 12. Lineup is Cena, Reigns, Rusev, Dusts, Rollins, and Big Show. I've no expectations for this—house shows are house shows after all—but I'm curios to see what they do to justify a 60 dollar ticket for…
I don't recall that level of vitriol? There were creative conflicts as any Hollywood types have, but didn't know he's POed people off that bad.
Dish though *picks up box of gossip cookies*
I hope someone got fired for that blunder.
He had a great career, but so short. Hats off.
Sam Simon just passed away.

Dang I love that robot, and this movie. I should do a Tempest film fest, include it along w/ Prospero's Books and the version by Paul Mazursky.
I think MadsMikk… gave you a real topheavy list that works against your intent, most of those books are Important Undertakings, not easy reads for a newbie—they're all great, but maybe just more than you want to load on someone. Recommending Shazam &/t MSoE is never a bad idea though.
I think The Night & Squire mini…
just got to read this. … It could use an edit, there's some parts I couldn't follow because the sentence structure got really confusing.
ooh, I've been looking for the Veitch story. I think I have 2 parts of it.
you can find copies of the first issue super cheap, usually less than cover price. 2-6 can't be that much more if you put in the time to hunt for them.
not enough Molson Golden
I don't have the network, so this'll keep me up to date as Wrestlmania approaches. Also, I'm more interested w/ the mechanics of pro wrestling as a storytelling device, so the analysis hits the spot for me.
Based on the recent-ish Palmiotti & Connor version, I'd vote for that. He was a delight.
when Tina is confessing her scheme, and Darryl is going off on her, in the background, Zeke is hunched over on the bowling bench, watching intently. I thought he was going to push forward on his crush on her, but that he was just intently into the whole scene was even better.
