I will say 'good day to you' sir!

I have, what feels to me, like a solid idea how to reimagine them, which would be true to the characters and probably satisfy the love for bad creative choices at DC editorial. But, who am I but a jaded fan to sugest how the wotld should spin.
Elongated Man is one of the overlooked treasures of 60s-70s DC. Dont feel bad for liking it. The Ralph & Sue marriage, and those spot-on fashions. So charming.
That's an amazing quote. Especially if its legitimately from Allen.
I bet. But not for germ fears, only because he can't stand the dark touch of humanity's soulless evil.
Solondz's project after this film is completed, is expected to be a live performance where-in those attending are told they'll get to have a casual and brief handshake with the director. However when each customer's time to meet/greet arrives, they will instead be beaten senseless and left to die, because that is how…
I can't believe there'd be any kind of public trial.
Agreed: "The reason protesters protest in actual physical areas is that protesters are, by and large, ineffectual and not a legitimate threat to the status quo."
I think my answer to this would be, if Snowden came back to the US he'd never have a chance to speak publicly. It seems obvious that the US Government would hold his trial in some version of State sanctioned secrecy, and we'd see and hear little or nothing from him or it. His law council, if not denied altogether…
HTS!: I've been dealing w/ a kidney stone the last couple weeks and they're finally getting sorted out. This is my first (and hopefully last bout) with them and it was a doozy. Unusually large, so it'd never pass w/ out outpatient ultrasonic shock therapy!
So, that is pretty good news, but the best news ever is:
Last…
I hadn't thought of that, about German Experssionism when I saw it. Since I took the movie as a very off kilter comedy though, I just take that line as another gag I suppose.
I remember not liking that film as much as I thought I would.
But it was in theatrical release, and I couldn't get attuned to the heavy accent Dafoe put on. I'd probably like it more on the small screen as it was a very intimate movie, + subtitles!
She was POed cuz it was looking like Ben Horne was her biological dad and her parents wouldn't admit it. It was a take on yet another soap opera / vintage YA novel trope, but her venomous anger at everyone made no sense.
And then Audrey got blown up in a bank for some/no reason.
they did not slow down.
Plot points were dropped, but so much stuff was brought up that could've been used for weeks, only to get resolved in the next, or 3rd episode.
I've heard that too. I'd say Donna's personality changed to that of an awful shrew. Got the feeling the writers/producers were pissed at her for scuttling the great romance of the series. She was so hateable in the last handful of episodes.
I'd have they wrather wrote her out instead, but I suppose they would have…
I think, because they knew how inappropriate the whole angle w/ her and Cooper was, they definitely went to great lengths to metatextually show she was way way older than a highschool girl.
really? I always ascribed that horrid story to the writers who took over from Lynch Frost in season 2—as noted by my comment above. Yesh, what a mess.
I do like the one part that Diane Keaton directed, for its aping of Lynch style pretty well.
I blame the writers, more than James for that debacle. Man, they just didn't know what to do after Lynch left. Burning through plots at an epic pace.
On the one hand, this is stupid because The Watcher just shows up all ominous and giant, and in a toga. He doesn't bother to skulk around.
On the other hand, this is a cute theory/idea, so I'll just add it to my headcanon.
Can we just get a dvd/blu release of "ON THE AIR", I would really love to all of it.

I'd pay as much as 50 dollars for those… 6 or was it 7 episodes.
