went to 2 shops looking for the Kang & Kodos comic and it was sold out. I've got a couple other places to try tho.
COPRA is great! I have the 3 trades, and hope Bergen Street gets to keep making them (they lost the printer willing to do that job), but even if not I will probably start grabbing these new jumbo trades.

I know! Weird, but I am also hopeful for that complication!

Treasure Mammal is a PHX musician/band, and is one of the most amazing live performers you'll ever see—especially in a small room. Cross between Andrew WK, Tony Robins, and the best performance art you like. I've known him a decade and he's always been one of my favorite acts. Recordings are great:

Deliriously happy. Definitely buying. Hope the quality matches. Her old S6 editor is writing SuicidecSquad now. Perfect books to play off each other.

For a long time I thought just have every disaster movie cliche happen at once, like a halloween episode that counts. Years later a friend suggested having Bart come out as gay. These days, not having watched since season 14 or so, what would make me most happy is having Lenny & Carl marry. They've had such a

you wouldn't believe the trouble I've run into with regulations like this, and how they're used to cause trouble for businesses on a selective basis.

Like Sony has never assassinated anyone.

I haven't seen this episode yet, gotta wait for the amazon purchase. But reading over the review, and views here, I can already tell I'm going to be upset by this one.
Here's some uninformed thoughts:
—Disturbed over Peacemaker's punishment. I think what isn't getting properly articulated is that the punishment didn't

that ep is why we're seeing a lot less of Jimmy Pesto now, it just poisoned the character. It went too far, and really has affected my enjoyment of the show all together.

I remember being into B&W comics from the boom era, but not giving a damn about the tmnt books. Classmates made fun of me endlessly…I couldn't even be into the right indie pop culture.
I did enjoy the role-play game w/ friends tho.

I'm glad a couple other fans have stepped in to defend VINCENT and BOB.

I can't imagine anyone else doing the art for it, wouldn't want to. As for heavy handed writing, as much as it was I think she's one of the only writers to pick up the ball of the Kirby/Lee style of bombastic storytelling and move it forward in new directions while still retaining the elements that made their

Daredevil was great, but still it gets very allegorical and symbolic, it still holds together as a narrative, but be warned. Her Longshot series was not so; full of ideas that just didn't come together (for me). I've found most of her other work from back then to just be hit or miss on personal preference.

Aja does get a decent amount of attention for Hawkeye, but they have allowed fill in artists but no fill in writers. The delay between issues of late has also had a lot more to do w/ Fraction's fraying relationship w/ Marvel then a hold up on the drawing.

I feel so bad for Ann.
Her old Daredevil work was amazing, but she hasn't done a thing worth sticking with since joining up w/ DC. I still believe a good part of it is editorial heavy handedness, but also she just doesn't seem invested in the work like she was at Marvel 25 years ago.
I do have hope for the new Klarion

that is definitely a thing. It seems like art can be great, down to serviceable, and basically get a pass. But once it dips below an acceptable level the bad art is the main aspect readers remember or see in a book.

Comics is an art driven medium where writers get a great deal more of the critical attention. Discuss

Man, it was a banner week (actually 2 weeks) for comics. Got the GIJoe/Transformers which looks like it'll be amazing. Last issue of Midas Flesh which, while a bit of a deus ex machina was well done and different enough that it escaped on its own terms. Superannuated Man #2 from Ted McKeever, and Afterlife with
