I keep hoping Eischied will get a legit video release.

TOO THE FAN-FIC MOBILE ROBIN!

I heard Gavin was a bit hard to work with, in that he constantly wanted to push more comedy into the series—like he did Mike Hammer. His light touch did help gloss over the shows FX failings, and ease the creep factor in some stories, but making it more humorous would've killed its legacy.

Love this series, and the first TV movie is one of the best TV movies ever.

^exactly.

oh man those DD stories he did w/ Nocenti were amazing.

I got SFoS-M #7, which was good as usual, but really shines when the worse badguys show up. Silvermane, Cameleon, Tombstone, and Owl have all be such great foils. I love that Boomerang's GF has weighed the appeal of his being a villain and is giving it a try, feels legit.

There must be some thread on here not hating these images, but I was too lazy to look for it.
I'm not going to defend the eventual movie—because I certain it'll suck—but honestly the pictures above look pretty great to me.
Bear in mind, I was never a consumer of the 'toon or movies, but I have some of the old B&W

Other comics:
I missed Midas Flesh #2 on Wed. so I picked that up last night.
It is a lovely drawn series, and although I like the way North is telling the story, it isn't very compelling yet. I'll get the whole thing, and imagine it is going to get better as it builds. His Adventure Time work with the same art team

I've gotten the idea, that the decade of legal work they went through cost Marvel a hell of a lot of money, so I don't blame them too much for the cover price on these issues. I am lucky enough to have all the flopies up to… maybe the last 2 or 3 issues of Gaiman's stories and Apocrypha, so luckily I won't have to

I got just 2 books:

I read Adventure Time 24 and the most recent MLP.
Finally got around to reading Gail Simone's Leaving Megalopolis which was nice and dark, not as good as her Secret Six was but pretty solid.
Also finally found and read the Moon Girl trade from Red 5. They really dropped the ball on this series. The art is very press

So, how's all the fans here feel about Twilight Sparkle becoming a princess alicorn? Not a fan of it myself, although I've only seen the episode where it happened, which was hella compressed and because of that very off-putting.
When season 4 comes to Netflix I'll have more to form an opinion on about it.

I think the stereotyping problem definitely comes from the outside, the news-media found and focused on the most vocal/least articulate/most defensive segment (same as politics). The larger problem though comes from the western culture stereotyping—the same reason a gender neutral Easy-Bake-Oven became a big deal in

I had a terrible terrible boss for the first 2 years at my government job, much like the bureaucrats in this film. He once proudly explained how he'd spent years building walls preventing communication between branches of our agency.
He retired, but I often consider anonymously sending him a copy of this movie, just

Actually….The don't. Have a friend who worked for Rockstar games, one of these kids came in. Totally terminal, he was just bored and dejected the entire time. 14 years old. All he wanted was a lap dance but MAW refused, so video game office instead.
Heartbreaking on so many levels.
Well, 2 levels at least.

Not to mention a rumpled trenchant. He had a kind of new wave influenced Constantine look goin' on.

This could really blow up on the Wood.
He might be better off just not ever addressing it, and taking a couple years (at least) off the convention circuit.

yea, thanks Obama Didio.
