The end of an era
Chang-less Taste Tests will never be the same. I'm sad.

Friday Night Lights
I agree with Genevieve about FNL, because I'm in the process now of catching up on seasons 1 and 2 courtesy of Netflix. After seeing the post and subsequent comments last weekend about a 2-season renewal, I went to the library and got the book. Sat down and read that sucker in a single day.
I meant to watch, but…
I fell asleep after about 15 minutes. Typical, and probably the reason I haven't watched this show in over a decade. Sad, because I never missed it when it first aired. I lost interest after Clooney left, and watched intermittently until Greene died.
Sounds like it never really jumped the shark…
Comment on comments
It's too bad you have to sift thru so much shit on these comment boards to find a reasonable discussion. Based on some of the comments from readers who actually watch the show, I downloaded the pilot show, and read the book, which I was surprised to find was non-fiction.
If you only knew…
No, senor, eet was a weegly beagly.

I've also held my dog in my arms for 20 minutes while she had a seizure. It's humbling and sorrowful.
To GK:
You seem to put your feelings in perspective quite well for this review. Nice job.
