This was such a grim episode for Cucumber. That disheartening monologue by Cleo was the highlight of the episode. I never knew the actress had that powerful delivery in her. It kind of depressed me this episode, but I think a bit of darkness was necessary for this show, but it was preferable not to undo all the work

So this whole comment section might just be the greatest comment section in the history of the Av Club. Everybody just debates about the best method to poop and it's possible Dirtbike Milksteaks smoked a bit too much pot, because he apparently talks to lizards now.

You Germans with your fancy, comprehensive words.

Michael Fassbender.

I never knew he had those comedic chops. He was so hilarious.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman should've won for any of his performances nominated instead of the Capote one. Not that it wasn't good, but there was an air of artifice to it that kept me from immersing in the film.

No I didn't read the book, maybe if I had, it would've been a different experience.

I couldn't agree with you more, she should've won for ESOTSM. And it always puzzles me why people overlook Revolutionary Road, it is such a good film, and Sam Mendes' best.

His vast array of sour faces at the lack of any Oscar recognition delights me so much that I find myself wishing he won't win it for some time, I derive too much perverse pleasure from it. I don't even know why, I like the guy.

Anne Hathaway is a terrible actress and should not win any awards.

Seeing how Peter O'Toole was awesome as all hell, I bet there were no fucks given from his part for not winning any Oscars.

It is not by any means a bad movie, but the violence in it is so visceral and monstrous it made me feel queasy and hate myself for watching it. I will never be able to watch that movie ever again, no matter its artistic value.

He will not win anything in the future either, seeing he refuses to play the game, and do all the shitty things actors must do to get nominated.

I thought Woody Harrelson did a lot better in a role that wasn't as flashy, but his performance was more nuanced and subtle in my opinion. I was pissed he didn't get any award recognition.

Oh, no, Dallas Buyers Club was an atrocious film, on a technical level, story level and in what it wanted to say. It was a false, hollow, misleading piece of garbage. Just do a bit of research on it and you will see.

She looks like Amanda Plummer in the Hannibal episode.

It was basically a fundamentalist Christian after-school special disguised as supernatural teen drama.

Why do you have to refrain yourself? I learned British English in school and I love British slang so I tend to use their English. I don't think is such a big deal if Americans use the occasional British term. Is it?

I must confess to enjoying Midsomer Murders. It makes the most out of the beautiful English countryside.

Oh, this is bloody ridiculous.
