One thing I've been thinking of re: Homeworld is that we don't know how specific and rare the conditions are for gem-creation. Maybe Earth is a one in a million world, & colonizing/destroying and worlds like it is viewed as a matter of survival (hence Lapis' statement that the Crystal Gems not only chose Earth but

Steven thoughtfully imitating that motion was priceless.

Ironically, on Homeworld it probably takes centuries to become a certified kindergartener.

Since it's been indicated that Peridots are pretty low on the Gem totem-pole themselves, it makes sense that she'd be especially class-conscious and cruel to a caste even lower than her. Peridot's reaction to Pearl is sortof like a non-wealthy republican hating on immigrant day laborers. It's often the people most

She has experience posing for paintings with Vidalia.

They mentioned Empire City in "Story for Steven". Which I assume is their equivalent to NYC.

WHAT ABOUT STEVEN UNIVERSE?

So is Sapphire blind? We never see her eyes, she doesn't respond to anyone unless she hears them first, and when she moves it's so precise it's like she's relying on future vision instead of visual information.

Love Raylan's ties.  Thin, minimalistic design.  Anyone know where I could get some neck-wear of a similar aesthetic?

I would not only welcome regular coverage, I'd cast my vote for write-ups of the best episodes of prior seasons.

Raylan Givens is so good at fighting men in wheelchairs that he makes it look badass.

I don't know
I thought it was pretty funny when the mom called Louie an Obama-loving f&ggot.

Is this actually on sale yet?
Didn't see it on itunes. Is it in stores?

The doctor at the beginning
was the same one from the pilot who prescribed Peggy birth control while telling her not to become the town pump. He was much nicer in this outing, probably out of affection for Joan.

Ron was being selfless. He said that Lesley does all his work as an argument for why they should fire him and keep her.

Offerman's fantastic delivery/excellent use of Yiddish
" Jerry is both the shlemeel and the shlamozzle of our office."

Nick Offerman's Penis
A quick stop to Nick Offerman's imdb page informed me that he played Tom Mason in the second episode of Deadwood, which means I've seen Nick Offerman's penis and not realized it for all these years.

Dominic
I didn't really notice it the first time through, with everything else that was going on, but there was no closure for that character. Not even a reference to him. Poor Laurence.

Cocaine
Is the only thing that could give someone the confidence to write something this bad.

Boyd's big badness was foreshadowed last episode
When Echo was in the Attic, she had a vision of a monstrous Doc Saunders immediately followed by a malevolent Boyd. At the time it just seemed like the Attic or Arcane playing tricks on her, but re-watching it after the reveal totally re-contextualizes the scene,
