The fact that that song is a cover blows my mind each time my wife reminds me.

When I worked at a county courthouse back in 2000, they had lever-based voting machines.

26, 12, 60. Suddenly vastly improved.

Here I was just thinking that Stephen and Adam can join up and form an alternate Baldwin family.

Yeah, every time I see Leland Orser in anything I go down that hole (which, given that my wife is working her way through ER, is going to suck pretty soon). His performance is a fairly large part of why that scene is so indelible.

I don't think that makes sense from a scientific point of view, since they wouldn't be able to kill off the entire ecosystem, just animals above a certain size. …should they have reviewed it earlier than that?

I remember when I decided to crank out a few levels of whatever it was where you gathered flowers. That definitely taught me that the game was all about balance - do some hunting and some gathering and some bounty collecting and some missions and some odd jobs and gamble and just ride around and look at the landscape.

The other day I was trying to get my venerable 360 to work so my daughter could play Lego Star Wars. I made a comment about how it might have gone to its reward at last, and my daughter asked "what does that mean?" My wife sighed "It means Daddy finally gets to buy a new video game console."

Chainsawsuit Kris Straub? Well, good for him!
