Kurt Loder nods approvingly.

When I was writing that book back there I felt like I was channeling James Bonding. But I would say Mira and the whole "wearing Bond's clothes to meet Daniel Craig" is more carehard/embarrassing.

Bond has changed pretty dramatically with Craig in the role - Bond always adapts to the times, so what worked in the 90s now seems laughable and out of place. Even the Connery Bond movies can have some risible stuff when viewed through today's lens (MASSIVE SEXISM). I just meant Brosnan's first outing got people

SPECTRE apparently made almost 900 million (which I guess is down 200 million from Skyfall, but still not bad), so if they can achieve that kind of success with the next two, they'd only be giving him about 15% of the total take. Obviously having Bond remain a successful franchise is super important to Sony and Craig

I agree only because I can't imagine turning down 150 million dollars. I understand the movies are extremely taxing to film and must be totally boring for him at this point, but that's serious fuck you money.

I liked this article, but I wonder if there's a correlation between all the pictures of Blake Lively marooned on a rock, and the author's twitter handle.

Except that MST3K did do skits and songs and wrote jokes and were very serious about the process of making something.

More 90s space combat sims (early Wing Commander and the LucasArts games). Still don't have the touch. Probably some Lego Star Wars with my daughter.

Wintermute, from Neuromancer. I've actually come across it as a real person's last name and I can't even imagine having a name that cool.

The first picture made me laugh so hard that I felt ok, and each new picture made me laugh harder. And I haven't even watched the movie yet. ¡Gracias, El Santo!

What a weird choice to list for John McTiernan's best action movie. I mean, it IS great and I love it, but McTiernan made what might just be best action movie of all time. I honestly would even list Predator over Red October in his personal list.

Jesus christ do not google "ghostbusting ape". Pintrest top 1000 funny racist memes! Results about Leslie Jones! I feel like I am going to get a call from the SPLC and need a shower.

I don't think I could do a drawing that encompassed both you and the point of the article at 1/10th scale without a piece of paper the size of a football field.

Wait, for The Stand do you mean Trash Can Man setting off the nuke, or The Walking Dude waking up in another world, ready to continue his mission?

Mr Hutz, I apologize for impinging on your pending lawsuit.

I liked the scene with Bos trying to manage the developers and Gordon stepping in to help, but certainly RoboButler was the funniest scene in the show in a long time.

I swear to god, every time Dawes shows up on my satellite radio I am SHOCKED they're real. Every time.

As opposed to The Neverending Story, which REQUIRES a sequel.

I wouldn't say I prefer it, but I've definitely seen it less (although I DID see it in the theater) and so it feels less worn to me. Agreed on Sadler- the TFTC episode "The Man Who Was Death" is a fun little coincidence in his career.

Elliot in the first movie looks like something out of a DeviantArt page. But maybe I'm joking the joke here?
