The Leonardo da Vinci with the stereotypical Italian accent was amazing, I had to listen to that section twice and both times I laughed uproariously.

In listening to this episode, I finally figured out why he calls Han "m'boogie" (I started Pistol Shrimps partway through last season, so if he explained it earlier, I missed it). As a Star Wars nerd, that it took me this long to figure out is a source of great shame.
"The most wearying part of this story isn’t that we might get an equally
milquetoast sequel; it’s that a movie making $89 million is considered a
flop." What. It IS a flop. It didn't make back its budget. I feel like Homer's brain explaining to him that money can be exchanged for goods and services.
Well, it was gonna be to play some more AC:Rogue before I took it back to the library, but GoG released a shitton of AD&D FR games and so maybe some of that.
Gordon knew that Donna would never stand for him working with Joe again, and he wanted desperately to save his marriage. Agreeing to work with Joe was impossible.
I started playing Etherlords 2 last week after picking it up on GOG for about 2 dollars. It's ok - the limited deck size makes it tough for me to think the game will have much variation, but it seems reasonably fun for a couple of bucks.
Rocky is easy - you pan to two ladies in the crowd as the boxing match is starting. Star Wars is also easy - two Rebel ladies who say "well, the Death Star is going to kill us, you want to fool around?" Jaws is tough, as is 12 Angry Men.
Gonna finish Red Dead, I can feel it. I went back and did a few missions and bounties, then rode around killing animals and collecting flowers for survivalist/hunter levels to get the feel back. I'm on the ranch now and working on the family missions. Since I somehow managed to never hear about the end of the game…
(That hoof-handed dad's) Fake outrage is fake.
Preamble: I have two children under five.
I guess I should clarify that I think Despicable Me is rated PG, but I think it was just fine for my young children. Any jokes that were inappropriate for them would go over their heads anyway. I wouldn't have them watch B:TAS, even though that's TV-PG. I feel like B:TAS was…
You know it was a kid's film, but you wish it wasn't.
I read Lullaby earlier this year (I read Invisible Monsters 10 years ago and only remember the reveal and the seagulls/shotgun stuff). It was fine, but I definitely didn't feel like there was any heft to it whatsoever. It felt very unfocused. The haunted houses, magic spells, and the Project Mayhem-style newspaper…
This is how I feel about Wattam and Shenmue 3. Also waiting.
A lot of my friends and coworkers don't use AdBlock and don't think much of just looking past ads. I feel like my decision to use AdBlock for about a decade has kind of limited my ability to self-filter advertising, making me more susceptible. When I listen to podcasts and get 40 ads for Harry's or Dollar Shave Club,…
Not even the Howards?
Did you see how it's 3% of their sales? Also, do you think most people know the manufacturer is called Sealed Air, or that households buy packaging material in a quantity to affect Sealed Air's sales? Major shippers are going to care about the quality of the product, not whether it's a household name. I work at a…
I don't put a ton of credence in Quora, but this was an interesting thread - specifically Jayesh Lalwani's comment:

That is a true vision of the apocalypse. You have my sympathies.
How about Toy Story 3? DEVASTATING.
When are you NOT drunk?
