Quite the opposite. It gets better as it goes along, as everything gains complexity and meaning.

I didn't know people in Seattle saw movies! jk. I view the emotions in the other characters heads differently. Since we are zooming into their heads, aren't we seeing everything from their most authentic perspective? And therefore it shouldn't be stereotypes? But then again the emotion characters are supposed to be

but it's true…also there was this ride/show thing at Epcot in the 80s/90s that was similar, about a pubescent boy and the control center in his brain. It's confusing why people are saying it's so original.

I hate to say it, but I was disappointed by this movie…
