I went and saw 'American Beauty' in the theater with my mother… I must've been 18 at the time, and found the early scene of Spacey waxing one out in the shower to be a foreboding sign of things to come.  So to speak.

I agree with this… I'm a big Young fan and find his discursive-ass memoir to be a mellow read, giving one more of a feeling for the man himself than anything, a B or B+.
