Hell yeah.

I need to get back to Munich, it's been too long.

Man, do I love a brat. All of them are good, but I'm partial to the veal varieties - something about it really works for me. I think because they remind me of the Bavarian weisswurst, my favorite sausage of all time.

Is Tumblr still owned by Yahoo? That would be a way for Yahoo to launch a streaming service, if so. (I'm not being snarky, it would actually line up well.)

I've got a Dutch single-speed omafiets and it's a great bike for this terrain - no frills means very little upkeep, and it's really comfortable to ride.

Hey, my degree was in Comparative History of Ideas!

Yeah, I'm way too much of a wimp to bike in the US. No routes and drivers who don't know you're there.

I'm not in Portugal! Our weather and food are much worse.

I think that would work really well for Justice League, where most of them don't need more introduction.

If the ensemble is strong enough, it doesn't matter if they're introduced in their own films or not. Think of the better Fast & Furious movies; we get a sense of who they are by the way they interact in the films. If that dynamic works, it can be followed to individual films.

I've lived in the Netherlands nearly 7 years and I always bring up biking as one of my favorite things about living here. It's the perfect place to bike - flat, mostly OK weather, great infrastructure. And it just feels great to do, cruising through the streets and feeling the city go by.

You see Dutch kids propped up on those about when they start walking. It's actually adorable.

I cannot imagine him pulling off the "actually deep down I kind of hate myself" charm of Tony Stark. No one could ever believe him as self-loathing.

It hasn't even opened everywhere yet- it's not in my Western European country until Thursday.

Yeah, but it would at least need to be a Justice League movie that works. It doesn't have to be an origin story - at this point, it would actually be interesting if it wasn't - but it should be a movie that is good and doesn't need other movies, at least.

For whatever reason I didn't watch Labyrinth as a kid, only encountering it as a 15-year-old who was already really into Bowie. It doesn't work that well in that context.

I'd love to see Manila or Nina, if only to prove to my friends that they're great.

I think he's doing all right with her - she's completely conquered the Internet pop sphere, which seems to work for her, and means that Universal has a strong presence in a field that might otherwise go to indie artists.

Spotify pushed the Hot Chip remix of this on me a bit ago, and it's really good- makes it a kind of Frankfurt School fever dream that I appreciate.
