There was a rumor back in the day that after Bonham died, Plant & Page were going start a band with Chris Squire and Bill Bruford and call it XYZ (as in ex Zeppelin & Yes)

Speaking of, isn't it about time for that Finding Bigfoot show to change its title to something more appropriate like Listening For Bigfoot or Look! Broken Twigs! ?
The more old James Brown stuff you listen to, the funnier that "bridge" joke gets.
I guess if I had to rank them by personal favorites, I'd have to say:
The tension-breaking cough at the end of "In My Time of Dying" is pretty funny though, and the title of "D'yer Mak'er" is a kind of dirty triple entendre. And "Fool In The Rain" has got a pretty good punchline.
Back in the day, they would get creative and do stuff like play an hour's worth of songs about rain or dogs or the moon or some such. They'd also do "album side weekends" where they would play a "side A" or "side B" all the way through, just to get some different songs out there.
"Hot Dog" is great. I remember someone left a comment here once complaining that Zeppelin's music was completely humorless and I thought they were out of their mind.
The advice I'd give to someone who wants to be a smartass in the AVClub comments section but doesn't want to read if another smartass has made the exact same smartass comment before them:
The live stuff on the new remastered Zeppelin 1 is pretty fun…
I don't know if there's anymore good non-satellite Classic Rock stations, but from the 80's through the mid-90's there were some great ones with talented and knowledgeable DJs who would play more than just the top 5 to 8 most popular songs from each band on an endless loop.
I like In Through The Out Door (OK, not "Cauroselambra" so much). "in The Evening" is amazing and the guitar solo on "I'm Gonna Crawl" is probably the best Blues that Pagey ever played.
ALSO: Aretha's Let It Be
Anyone who uses "inoffensive" as an "I sound smart" music dis should also be required to use "offensive" as a positive descriptor as often as possible, just to see how ridiculous they sound. "I love that band! They're so offensive!"
Yoakum is amazing in that movie.
More like Saturday Night DEAD!
Don't mess with the ToHan
Well while we're all bragging, I saw him on a triple bill with the Secret Sisters and Levon Helm. Awesomeness.
Is it pronounced "Easy Rock" or "EFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ Rock" ?
I was just bummed the guy didn't shout "Claimed!" when he saw Carl.
"I have come to eat brains and kick ass…and I'm all out of brains!"
