I totally pictured you pushing glasses up the bridge of your nose while you typed that.

That hasn't been a problem for me.

More like Saturday Night DEAD!

More like Saturday night DEAD!

More like Saturday Night DEAD!

The guy in Hell whispering to his friend, "I hate it here."

And did his little "thank you" thing at beginning sound a bit like "I'm going to be in the running for Tonight Show host in 20 years!" to anyone else?

Because it just makes sense that if you create a character that's funny and popular you should use it as little as possible.

I don't know if I get the reviewer's "They should have shown the new black girl dancing" comment.

I was impressed with the musical guest though. I loved her in True Grit , but I had no idea she could sing too!

I vote for Journeyman

So you're Dead, now what?

Most of the characters on 99 have Parks & Rec DNA. The chief is Ron Swanson, Peralta is Andy. Diaz is April. Santiago is a cross between Leslie and Ann Perkins. The two older cops are Jerrys.

I agree on Happy Endings. If that show had concentrated on presenting actual human beings instead of constantly trying to break some sitcom "joke per minute" record, I would have been sad to see it go.

Here's a little slice of awesomeness: Aretha performing "Night Life" live. That's one of B.B. King's signature tunes, Willie Nelson wrote it, but she owns it here: http://youtu.be/-62jIkkuBSU

Agreed. Imagine Otis singing something like Al Green's "Full of Fire". He woulda nailed it.

I don't even OWN a football

Who were the ad wizards who thought up THOSE ones?

Plus British accents.

I've got tickets to see her in February (with Valerie fuckin' June opening!!!) so I will let you know.
