End of season two, Walt (indirectly) kills Jane.  End of season three, he (indirectly) kills Gayle.  End of season four, he (practically) kills an innocent kid.  It keeps ratcheting up - by the end of season five, Walt's going to at least try to kill someone even closer, probably Hank.
