Between the van with a skeleton in it, the jungle-like location and the weird cabin that is protected by a man with a gun, this episode had a very Lost-ian vibe. That the music is from Giacchino's disciple probably makes seeing those connections much easier, too.

I'm not sure Ben and Kate is the best example for this, since its ratings are equally awful. Also, Kate acts a little crazy too !

People like the show because of the first 4 seasons, which were nothing short of great (seasons 2 and 3 especially). Trying to watch it now won't work… most of us are only sticking around out of loyalty/desire to see how it ends.

It won too many Emmys. Apparently, Everybody Loves Raymond suffers from the same treatment (I've never watched it, but Todd mentioned that it was actually good on tvoti, which I guess I believe).
