Speaking of Jack Black, the bit where Will Forte plays a younger version of him bombing at a spelling bee always cracks me up.  It's one of those gags where the joke is that it goes on for way too long (which has been done ad-nauseam), but it works because Forte is just so committed to staying in character.

I agree that the picture was flawed in places.  There was definitely noticeable blurring and pixelization in certain scenes, but most of the time it looked really good.  The sound was amazing though.  I'm glad I saw it just for all the little bits of mumbled dialogue and background noise that I missed from viewing it…

Agreed, especially on the part about Jennifer Connelly.  She honestly looks like a better pin-up model in this movie than any actual pin-up model from that same era (with the possible exception of Rita Hayworth).  I mean she's just…WOW.
